London events in March

This is the first in a series of monthly articles designed to keep you up to date with what’s happening in and around London in the upcoming weeks. As always, we have an excellent range of apartments available to rent all over London (not to mention the rest of the UK, Europe and Worldwide).
Country Living Magazine Spring Fair
In the capital from 12-16th March at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London. There will be over 350 designers and artisans from over the UK exhibiting their work, which includes handcrafted ceramics, unique jewellery and wonderful gardening products. Any serviced apartments in the centre of London would make for a wonderful stay and would only be a short tube ride away from this event, especially Londinium Tower in the City.
Dolly Parton
On at Wembley Arena, London on 23rd and 25th March. Dolly Parton is back in London for a rare appearance singing all the favourites like Jolene, 9 to 5 and I will always love you. Randolph Avenue are lovely serviced apartments which are just a short trip on the Bakerloo line to this wonderful event.
Gilbert and George Exhibition at the Tate Modern
On now until 7th May this year, Gilbert and George’s art is a form of self-portraiture, they always feature in their own work. Exhibits of their work include The Nature of Our Looking 1970, Cherry Blossom 1976 and life with out end 1982. Plaza on the River luxury serviced apartments is just a short taxi ride from this wonderful exhibition.
Tutankhamun and The Golden Age of the Pharaohs Exhibition
On now at O2, Peninsula Square, London. These treasures have not visited London in over 30 years. There are more than 130 artefacts being exhibited in London, The exhibition is organised into 11 different galleries and takes the journey in chronological order or the Tutankhamun period. Broadwalk Place is a fabulous serviced apartment in Canary Wharf which would be a perfect place to stay when visiting this exhibition.
Kids will love Wicked The Musical
On now until September this year at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, with a wonderful cast, this is a must see for all. This is a tale of 2 young girls who make friends. One has emerald-green skin, is smart, feisty and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. This unlikely pair grows up to be Elphaba (the Wicked Witch of the West) and Glinda the Good Witch. This production has won many awards including a grammy! We can offer one of the best luxury serviced apartments in London for you called Buckingham Gate, which is not far from this event. St Johns luxury serviced apartments is approximately 10 minutes walk from this wonderful production.
Kids will love the blooming wetlands weekend on over the Easter weekend at The London Wetland Centre, Queen Elizabeth’s Walk, London. The Wetlands Weekend is run by the Wildfowl and Wetlands trust, this is a wonderful haven for Birds and wildlife in Europe. A range of lakes, ponds and marshes cover over 43 hectors and there are many pathways to explore. This weekend will show you how to create your own gardens, which will attract some of the wonderful wildlife we have in this country. Bow Lane apartments in the Centre of London is a tube or Taxi ride away from this wonderful weekend for everyone!
